Michael Doyle, founder and CEO of leading branding firm Brand Iron, national speaker and author of Seven Secrets of a Brand Champion, has been shaping successful brands in various industries for more than 20 years. After building a successful Denver-based advertising agency, focusing on high tech and dot.coms, into a multi-million dollar company, Michael sold it as part of a national IPO in 2000, and then served as their national senior brand director in preparation for going public.

From national television disaster to ad campaign: When awkwardly nervous Chevrolet executive Rikk Wilde presented SF Giants’ star pitcher, Madison Bumgarner, with the all new 2015 Chevy Colorado after winning the World Series MVP, viewers cringed in their seats. Rather than biting the bullet, Chevy turned Wilde’s “technology and stuff” comment into a new campaign to promote the latest technology in the Chevy Colorado. From a hashtag to print ads, Chevy has fully turned this PR slip up into a marketing sensation. Well played, Chevrolet.
